National Eligibility cum Entrance Test also called NEET is an entrance exam held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India for the aspirants of medical and dental courses at the graduate and post-graduate levels. It includes the MBBS, BDS and other medical courses offered by the government and private colleges in the country. The exam is usually conducted in May every year. The National Medical Council Act, 2019 has made NEET as a mandatory entrance examination for getting MBBS admissions to all the medical institutions.
