  • What are the eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2024?  

The aspirants who apply for the NEET MDS examination must have completed their bachelor’s in DENTAL and Surgery (BDS) and should be DCI or SDC-approved.  

Aspirants must not be younger than 20 years of age.  

The aspirants must have completed 12 months of internship right after completing their bachelor’s degree, before 31st March.  

  • What is the conducting authority of NEET MDS?  

NBE or National board of examination conducts this qualifying cum ranking examination for admission to various MDS courses across the country to complete their post-graduation 

  • What is the best time to start preparing for NEET MDS?  

It is suggested to start preparing for NEET MDS from the beginning of your internship. However, if your concepts are not good enough and if you have not been performing well in UG years then it is better to start in your third or fourth year.

  • What is the exam pattern of NEET MDS?  

The question paper of NEET PG MDS has 240 questions. Part A consists of 100 questions and Part B will comprise 140 questions. Each question carries 4 marks. You are given three hours straight to attempt your paper. The exam includes negative markings as well. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. 

The front page of the question paper states the given guidelines and rules to attempt the exam.  

  • Are there any recent changes made by NBE for NEET MDS?  

There are not any major changes in the pattern made by NBE. However, there are two minor changes made by NBE. First is, an increase in the NEET MDS application fee and the other is a hike in the number of exam centers.  

  • Could we change the center for the examination?  

No, the centers for the NEET MDS exam allotted to the candidates cannot be changed. Hence, you must appear at your allotted center to attempt your exam. 

  • Could we get a refund of the money once the PG NEET MDS form is submitted? 

No, a refund is not allowed. Once you fill out the examination form for NEET MDS, you are deemed to be present on the exam day as per your allotted seat. If not, then you have no right to ask the authority for your refund.
